Access to the Pivot Point Hub at Buchanan Street is from the eastbound lane of Buchanan street, underneath Interstate 80.
To board the AC Transit Transbay Line L, follow the posted signs to cross Buchanan Street to the bus stop.
There are four BikeLink Quad eLockers (16 spaces) available at Pivot Point.
$0.05 per hour standard rate, $0.12 per hour after your rental expires.
ACCESSING THE LOCKERS
You will need the BikeLink app, BikeLink card or Clipper card to open the lockers.
You can also use a physical Clipper card to open the bike lockers at Pivot Point. You will need to link your Clipper card to a BikeLink profile and have money in your BikeLink Online Account (BikeLink parking is not drawn from Clipper cash value). What are the hours of operation?
6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding observed holidays.
The hubs will be closed on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
What happens if I return to the lot after it is closed?
For security purposes, all lots will close at 8:00 PM and the gates will be locked. There will not be staff available to unlock the gates between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM. If you are unable to retrieve your vehicle before closing hours, you must come back the next day when the lots open at 6:00 AM.
Who can park at the lots?
Commuters who are transferring on to AC Transit, employer/private shuttles, carpooling or other mode of transportation.
What are the daily rates?
Daily parking is $3.
How do I pay for parking?
You can pay for parking with Passport Parking payment services.
For daily parking sessions, you can pay with a mobile phone by:
- Downloading the Passport Parking App, or
- Going to the web portal at https://park.passportparking.com/park/.
Monthly parking permits can only be purchased through the web portal and are not available through the mobile Passport Parking App at this time. Can I park at all Pivot Point Commuter Parking Hubs with a monthly permit, or do I need a separate permit for each lot?
You will need a separate monthly permit for each lot.
Can I reserve a specific space?
At this time, you cannot reserve a specific parking space at the lots. You will be responsible for finding an open space upon entering the lots.
Am I guaranteed a parking space by paying for parking in advance or purchasing a monthly parking permit?
Paying for parking in advance or purchasing a monthly parking permit does not guarantee a parking space. Parking will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Can I reserve accessible parking?
At this time, accessible (ADA) parking cannot be reserved. Accessible parking spaces are available to holders of valid Disabled Person Parking Placards or license plates on a first-come, first-serve basis.
For electric vehicles paying for parking, will a separate charging fee be applied?
ChargePoint electric vehicle chargers will be available at all lots. ChargePoint charging rates will be applied to electric vehicles that use these chargers. Cars must be charging while parked in an EV space.
I received a parking citation. What do I do now?
Please follow the instructions described on the citation.
